| Bishop
to Bodie Ride Join us for a five
day ride from the high desert east of Bishop to the old ghost
town of Bodie. This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the
great outdoors
of the Eastern High Sierra and a true western experience in wild horse
country through the scenic Mono Lake region.
The journey begins in the Bishop area and follows an old
stagecoach route used in the late 1800's leading to the historic mining
town of
Bodie,
California.
Riders will return to Bishop for the beginning of the annual "Mule
Days" celebration. Participants
are encouraged to dress in the attire of the late 1800's in keeping
with the surroundings of Bodie. |
