Red's Meadow Directions

How to get there
From Highway 395, forty miles north of Bishop, take Highway 203 approximately 6 miles toward Mammoth Lakes. At the second stop light, turn right on Minaret Summit, which passes through the Mammoth Mountain Winter Sports Area. From Minaret Summit, travel on a paved road 2 miles to Agnew Meadows Pack Station, and the road ends another 6 miles further at Red's Meadow Resort & Pack Station. Red's Meadow is 1 mile beyond the Devil's Postpile National Monument.

Forest Service Entrance Station and Shuttle Bus
The Forest Service will charge $7.00 per person to enter the Red's Meadow area. Pack trip customers, cabin guests and campground users are allowed to drive their vehicles to their destination.

Please bring your letter of confirmation of your reservation to show the Forest Service attendant. You are to be permitted to drive to your destination at any time.

All others are required to take the shuttle bus from the Mammoth Mountain adventure center.
